Teaching at NYU

After teaching in the graduate and continuing education programs at NYU’s Center for Global Affairs for thirteen years, I chose to hang up the boots in the summer of ’22.  I had some wonderful students along the way, many of whom are doing great work these days getting after the climate crisis and promoting clean tech.  Some highlights include my organizing and leading a trip to Berlin in 2015 to look at clean tech there, curating and moderating a panel on the state of clean tech in 2014, and putting together a discussion on career paths in sustainability with some of those great former students.  As I said in the acknowledgments for my book, I “need to thank all my students for making me think more and study harder.”
